What this free QR code generator makes

It makes static QR codes for a website, a WhatsApp chat, a Wi-Fi network, an email address, a phone number or plain text, with your logo in the centre if you want one. Everything is made in your browser, the download is PNG, SVG or JPEG, and you do not sign up.

A WhatsApp QR code opens a chat with your number and a message already typed, such as "Hi, I'd like to order for collection". The customer only taps send. See the WhatsApp QR code generator for the wa.me format, the 120-character limit and ideas for counters, menus and name cards.

Free QR codes for every job

Same free generator, same logo and colour options. Each page opens the tool on the right type, and you can switch types at any time.

  1. Choose Website, Text, Email, Phone, Wi-Fi or WhatsApp and enter what the code should open.
  2. Under Add a logo to the centre of the code, upload a PNG, JPEG or WebP. The logo is an embedded image in the centre, up to 2 MB.
  3. Choose Small, Medium or Large. Large is the maximum, about one fifth of the code. Leave the clear margin around the pattern.
  4. Use a dark code on a light background. Export stays off until the contrast is at least 4.5:1 and the finished design, logo included, still scans.
  5. Download PNG, SVG or JPEG. No sign-up. Test the file on a phone at the size you plan to print.

You can skip the logo and download a plain code. High error correction stays on either way. SVG keeps the QR modules as vectors and embeds an uploaded logo as an image.

Static codes, and a 3D-printed stand

This generator makes static QR codes. The destination is stored in the image, so the code does not expire with a subscription, and it does not count scans or let you edit the link later. A dynamic QR code uses a redirect service when you need those updates. To change a static code, generate and print a new one.

For a counter, continue to a 3D-printed QR stand, or a Tap Bar QR with a QR panel beside NFC tiles. Ordering is optional. If you print your own products, use QR Stand Maker or the separate 3D QR code generator. Those print-file downloads use a free Make account. This page does not create 3MF or STL files, and it does not create a bank PayNow QR.

Free QR generator with logo FAQ

Is this QR code generator free, with no sign-up?

Yes. Create a QR code and download PNG, SVG or JPEG without signing in, giving an email address or buying anything. The export has no watermark.

How do I add a logo in the centre of a QR code?

Choose Website, Text, Email, Phone, Wi-Fi or WhatsApp, then use Add a logo to the centre of the code. Upload a PNG, JPEG or WebP up to 2 MB and 4,096 pixels on a side. The logo is an embedded image in a small central square. Pick Small, Medium or Large, wait for the scan check, and download. You can also export a code with no logo.

Will a QR code with a logo inside still scan?

It can, when the logo stays within the size limit and the contrast stays high. This tool uses high error correction and clears whole modules behind the logo so the image does not slice a square. It renders the finished design, including the logo, and blocks the download unless an independent reader decodes the exact content. Test the file on a phone before printing. A software check cannot promise a scan on every camera, size or material.

What logo size and contrast should I use?

Start with Small or Medium. Large is the maximum: the image is about one fifth of the code, with a clear patch around it. Use a dark QR colour on a light background. The tool requires at least 4.5:1 contrast and rejects pale or reversed colours. Keep the built-in clear margin, avoid very small prints, and do not place the code on a busy photo.

What is the difference between a static and a dynamic QR code?

These downloads are static. The website, text, email, phone, Wi-Fi details or WhatsApp chat is stored in the image. There is no redirect, scan analytics or way to change the destination after printing. A dynamic code uses a service you can edit later, and often tracks scans. To change a static code, generate and print a new one. This tool does not create dynamic codes.

Can I put this QR code on a 3D-printed stand?

Yes, as an optional next step. The QR Stand is a 3D-printed counter stand, and Tap Bar QR adds a QR panel beside NFC tiles. From this page you can carry the artwork into those product pages, or download the image and use it yourself. QR Stand Maker builds a print-your-own stand. A separate 3D QR code generator makes a raised QR tile; its 3MF and STL downloads use a free Make account. This page does not download 3MF or STL files.

Can I create a WhatsApp QR code with a pre-filled message?

Yes. Choose WhatsApp, pick the country code, enter the number without the country code or a leading zero, and add a message of up to 120 characters. The tool builds a link such as https://wa.me/6591234567?text=Hi!%20I%20saw%20your%20flyer. Scanning it opens a chat with your message already typed; nothing is sent until the customer taps send. The encoded link is limited to 600 bytes, so emoji and some scripts use up the space sooner. The complete QR is checked before download.

Which file format should I download?

Choose PNG for websites, social posts and everyday printing, SVG when you need scalable vector QR artwork, or JPEG for software that requires a JPG. An uploaded logo remains an embedded raster image inside an SVG. PNG and JPEG have an opaque background. Sizes are 512, 1,024 or 2,048 pixels.

Is my QR content or logo uploaded?

The generator processes your content and logo in your browser. Your edits stay in this browser tab so you can return from a stand page or reload the editor. It does not send them to a QR generation server. Choosing a stand stores a temporary design in this browser and carries it to the product configurator. Normal checkout uploads the artwork when you place an order.

Can I generate a PayNow payment QR here?

No. This tool can encode an existing https link, but it does not create a bank-certified PayNow or SGQR payment code. For a PayNow stand, use the QR supplied by your bank or payment provider.
