9 Must-Print Accessories for the Bambu Lab P2S & X2D

9 must-print accessories for the Bambu Lab P2S and X2D, from the Allin Studio print farm

At Allin Studio we don't just sell 3D-printed things. We run a small print farm that's going almost every day, turning out the Tap To Connect stands, tiles and namecards we ship across Singapore. Our workhorses are the Bambu Lab P2S and X2D.

A printer farm lives or dies by how tidy and frustration-free it is. Over the months we've printed a stack of community accessories that quietly make the whole setup better: less mess, less hunting for tools, fewer failed prints. Here are the 9 we'd print first on a new machine.

Every one is a free model on MakerWorld, and we printed them all in 0.4mm nozzle, single colour, nothing fancy. Full credit to the makers; each links back to their model and profile.

13D-printed P2S/X2D toolbox holding Bambu Lab tools and 8 hotends

P2S / X2D Toolbox

~4 hrOrganisation

Every Bambu printer ships with a little pile of tools: hex keys, spare nozzles, the scraper. Within a week they're scattered across the bench. This sturdy case corrals all of it, with a tray that holds up to 8 hotends, so spares are sorted and nothing rolls away.

23D-printed build plate cleaner holding a microfibre cloth pad

Build Plate Cleaner

~1.1 hrMaintenance

A quick wipe of the plate between prints keeps adhesion reliable. This holder gives the microfibre pad a permanent home right by the printer, so the cleaning step actually happens, instead of being skipped because the cloth went missing.

3Blue 3D-printed scraper with replaceable blades clipped onto a printer door

Ultimate Scraper (Door Mount)

~50 minTool

Popping a stubborn print off the plate needs a scraper, and the scraper is always the thing that goes walkabout. This one clips straight onto the printer door with replaceable blades, so it's exactly where your hand expects it, every time.

4P2S/X2D dust cover set plugging the top port holesP2S/X2D full-coverage dust cover for the bottom holes

Dust Cover Set (Top + Bottom)

~1 hr + ~2.1 hrProtection

The P2S/X2D has a number of open holes that let dust and stray debris settle inside the machine over time. We print two complementary sets to seal them up: one for the top ports and one for the bottom holes / full coverage. Cleaner internals, less maintenance down the line.

53D-printed funnel saver for the Bambu Lab AMS 2 Pro

AMS 2 Pro Funnel Saver

~40 minAMS

Filament feeds out of the AMS through a funnel, and over time that path can wear or let filament catch, which means feed errors mid-print. The Funnel Saver protects and smooths the route, so multi-colour and long jobs run with fewer surprises.

63D-printed desiccant boxes slotted between filament spools in the AMS 2 Pro

Desiccant Boxes (AMS 2 Pro)

~8 hrFilament care

Filament hates moisture: damp spools cause popping, stringing and weak layers. These boxes pack desiccant neatly into the AMS 2 Pro between spools, keeping everything dry so prints stay crisp. A longer print, but you do it once.

73D-printed magnetic poop chute with a detachable basket on a Bambu Lab printer

Poop Chute + Basket

~8–10 hrTidiness

Every print starts with a filament purge, and without a catch those little "poops" end up all over the floor behind the machine. This magnetic chute funnels them straight into a detachable basket. Empty it once a day and the area stays spotless.

8AMS tilted up on a 3D-printed flipper for easier access

AMS Flipper

~4.5 hrAMS

Loading filament or clearing a jam means reaching awkwardly over the top of the AMS. The Flipper lets you tilt the whole unit up for proper, two-handed access, a small print that removes a daily annoyance.

9Before-and-after of a 3D-printed Z-axis lower bearing cover fitted on a Bambu Lab printer

Z-Axis Lower Bearing Cover

~24 minProtection

The lower Z-axis bearing sits exposed and slowly collects dust and debris. This cover caps it to keep grime out and protect the mechanism. At under half an hour it's the fastest win on this list. Print it, clip it on, forget about it.

Why we're showing you our printer farm

Because the same machines that print these little quality-of-life upgrades are the ones that print your Tap Bars, Tap Tiles and Tap Snaps. When you order from us, it's not coming from a faceless factory. It's coming off a tidy, well-looked-after bench in Singapore, run by people who care enough to print a holder for their cleaning cloth.

If you've got a P2S or X2D of your own, print a few of these, they genuinely make the hobby nicer. And if you'd rather someone else do the printing, that's literally our job →

All models are free on MakerWorld and belong to their respective creators, so please support them with a like, a boost, or a tip. Print times are approximate, measured on our Bambu Lab P2S/X2D with a 0.4mm nozzle in a single colour; yours will vary with settings and filament.
