Most people meet a 3D printer through their phone. You find a model someone else made, tap print, and hope. This class is the other side of that.

You get an A1 Mini to yourself, and by the end you will have loaded it, calibrated it, sliced your own files with settings you chose on purpose, designed a part from scratch, and printed both.

A room full of printers also lets us do something you cannot do at home. Everyone prints the same test model with different settings, and at the end we line them all up on a table. You will hold the difference between two walls and five, between five percent infill and fifty. That comparison usually takes months of trial and error alone. Here it takes one morning.

Bring a laptop. You will be working in Bambu Studio and TinkerCAD on your own machine for most of the session, so it is the one thing you will not regret packing. Bring your charger too. We will email a short setup checklist a few days before; it takes about ten minutes.

What makes this different

One printer each. Not one between four.

Most classes are demonstrations. Someone drives a machine at the front and you watch. Here you load it, calibrate it, launch it, and take the print off the bed with your own hands.

The group settings experiment

We all print the same test model at once, but every person runs different settings. Then we line them up and pass them around. Learning that alone takes months of wasted filament.

We start at the slicer, not the download button

The eight settings that actually decide whether a print succeeds: orientation, layer height, walls, infill, supports, adhesion, speed, seams. Once you understand those, every model on the internet becomes yours to adjust.

You design something and print it

Not a demonstration of design. You build a real part in TinkerCAD from a blank canvas and print it on your own machine before you leave.

Taught on the printer you would actually buy

The A1 Mini is around S$300 and it is the machine most people should start with. Nothing here is demonstrated on equipment you would never own.

None. We start with the machine itself. If you already own a printer you will still learn plenty, because most of this class is about the slicer rather than the hardware.

No. There is one printer per person for the whole session.

Yes, and you will not regret it. More than half the class is hands-on work in Bambu Studio and TinkerCAD on your own machine, so without one you would be watching rather than doing. We will send a short setup checklist a few days before; it takes about ten minutes.

Not currently. Allin Studio is an independent studio rather than a registered training provider, so this is paid in full. What you get in exchange is a small class with a printer each, which the subsidised courses do not offer.

Yes. TinkerCAD runs in a browser and is genuinely built for beginners. Most people are making things within twenty minutes. Fusion is shown as a demo only, so there is nothing to install and nothing to keep pace with.

If you have only ever printed from the Handy app, no. The slicer block and the group settings comparison are the parts most owners have never done, and they are the bulk of the session.

Reels & Meals is a relaxed introduction over brunch, built for people who want to understand what 3D printing is. The First Layer is a skills class for people who want to operate a printer properly. Different rooms, different mornings, different outcomes.

Yes, there is a short break partway through. Light refreshments are provided, but not a meal. If you need something more substantial, eat beforehand.

Each booking takes one seat, because each person gets their own printer. To bring someone, simply complete the booking again for them. Seats are limited, so do it in the same sitting.

Full refund up to seven days before the class, and fifty percent up to forty-eight hours before. No refund after that, since seats are limited and late cancellations are difficult to fill. You are welcome to send someone in your place at any point.
